Ruido de Fondo is Fax's second brilliantly produced full length release. This time, Fax's post wallpaper techno is augmented with various sound process patterns and background noise interludes. The rhythms are minimal and comfy, the bass heavy and round, the pulses are blunted and dubby while the landscape is expansive and full of sun. The special double LP version of Rudio De Fondo, released in conjunction with San Diego's Rocket Racer label, shares only 3 tracks in common with the CD release. Think of the LP set as a continuation of the tracks on the CD.
